Billy CD Shuffle Mix

While fans were making a mix CD for Billy (read more below), he did the same thing for his fans.

Here is what Billy wrote for his CD Mix for fans:

"ok....here are some of my favorite tunes .... I dont know if i could truthfully name a sequential top ten but I will shoot off the cuff and I think using that criteria I will keep it 'real":

Bad - U2
Dont Drag Me Down - Social Distortion
How Bizzare - OMC (not a brilliant song, but it puts me in a good mood every time I hear it)
Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
I fought the Law - Bobby Fuller
Dirty Deeds - ACDC
The Boys are Back In Town - Thin Lizzy

Looking back at this list, I think all of these inspire me to write. Each of these songs has something in them that I would love to convey in my music"

BillySawilchik.com "CD Mix" Contest

This contest had two parts.
  1. In part one of this contest, fans were invited to make a mix CD (virtual or actual) for Billy of seven songs or more. The idea to have fun and to share the music you love with a musician whose music you love. All entries will be given to Billy Sawilchik, Lovehammers' guitarist. This can be simply a list of the seven songs they chose along with the artists. These mixes have been received and will be sent to Billy.

    All entries are in for Part 1! Congratulations to Heidi, Rachael (Isa), and Tricia!

  2. In part two of this contest, fans did a scavenger hunt on Billy's site. Each clue led them to a different song that Billy put on his CD Mix for fans. As a surprise, the webmaster decided to have three winners instead of just two! The entries are in and three winners have been chosen at random. Congratulations to Malinda M., Heidi K. and Stephanie A.!

    Each winner will receive an 8 by 10 glossy photo of Billy performing at Summerfest 2007. Photos were taken by Clint Tuthill. All photos were signed by Billy at Northalsted Market Days.
